Parrys International Wolves, who staged a remarkable recovery to edge into the play-offs last year, are looking to build on that when the season starts in late March.

Before then, however, they will host their press and practice session on Monday, March 23, with the media session expected to start at 5.30pm followed by track action from 7pm.

And the following evening the full team and management will meet the fans at the ever-popular pre-season talk-in. This event will once again be held at the Cleveland Arms Sports Pub on Stow Heath Lane close to Monmore from 7.30.

Club bosses can also confirm the opening meeting of the season will be on Monday, March 30 with full details to be revealed at a later date.

The opening official fixture at Monmore will be Monday, April 6.

Parrys International Wolves will also track a team at Championship Redcar in a Challenge fixture on Friday, March 27, with plenty of fans set to make the rare trip to Teesside.

Promoter Chris Van Straaten said: “This is the time of year when people start counting down to the new season and when we start to see dates like these you know it’s getting closer.

“The press and practice followed by the talk-in the following night works well and we look forward to meeting up with all the fans.”
