They head to Leicester as part of a double header with Glasgow tonight and then face Plymouth at Monmore on Monday. Anchor Logistics Heathens racer Sheldon Davies is relishing the prospect of a busy spell.

“It’s been a frustrating few weeks,” Davies said.

“But I’ve got a busy time coming up so I’m definitely making up the time I’ve been out for. To ride in the Under-19s is going to be an honour and it will be a good experience for me.

“Then we’ve got a couple of big meetings coming up with Cradley.

“Hopefully I can score some points at reserve and for the team we know we need to get as many points as we can.”

Cradley‘s riders will be doing a signing session for supporters from 6.45-7pm on Monday at Monmore and club bosses are hoping for another decent turnout with kids being admitted for free.

Luke Becker has been boosted by the presence of his grandfather from America recently.

Becker is in his debut British season with Wolves and has made a steady start.

Parrys International Wolves head to Belle Vue on Monday looking to end their drought on the road.

Said Becker: “To have him over here in England for the first time and have him watch some of my heats live was a pretty awesome feeling for both of us,” Becker admitted.

“I had a pretty rough meeting the week before (against Belle Vue) so I was pretty hungry and determined to turn things around from the off anyway.

“But to have him here with me, I wanted to go out there and do him proud if I could. Speedway means everything to him and since I came over here to race he’s been following everything I’ve been doing.”
