Wolves targeting a jump into play-offs

Wolverhampton are aiming to move back into the top four of the Premiership when they host Belle Vue at Monmore tonight (7.30).

A win for the Parrys International Wolves would see them leapfrog Swindon into the play-off positions ahead of their away clash with the Robins on Thursday.

There’s a new riding order for the hosts though with the latest greensheet averages kicking in. Recently crowned Swedish champion Jacob Thorssell moves to No.1 with skipper Rory Schlein now partnering Nick Morris at No.3.

“We’re getting better and better each week at the minute and we’re starting to properly click as a team,” Thorssell said.

“We know we can’t slip up against Belle Vue like we did earlier in the season and we know we need to try and make sure they don’t even get a point. Every meeting is important and has got so much riding on it between now and the end of the season.”
