Nordley targeting home comforts

Bylet host Windmill tomorrow, while Short Heath head to Woddfield and Glasscutters entertain Stile.

Trailing 17-5 in the final to Ian Jones (Woodfield) at Pennfields, Tapper rallied brilliantly to win 21-18.

The losing semi finalists were Ian Whitehouse (Nordley) and Jamie Hill (Springvale).

n The Jesse Gough Doubles finals take place on Sunday at Goodyear Pavilion Bowling Club on Sunday.

A total of 16 pairs will compete for a title that has been contested since 1961.
