Wolves boss Nuno will not rush Willy Boly return

Nuno Espirito Santo is happy with the speed of Willy Boly’s recovery – but stressed the need for patience in the final stretch of the process.

Boly broke his left fibula after slipping in training in October and is estimated to return to action in February.

The centre-half has been back running on the grass, kicking a ball and doing some drills at Compton Park, but Nuno says more work is ahead before he joins his team-mates in full training.

He said: “Yes, I’m happy with that (the recovery process) and I hope he continues to progress with no setbacks.

“The best way is to give him time and to take the right steps. I cannot tell you a date.

“He’s progressing well, but he’s only working by himself, with the physios and trainers – the coach Joao Lapa

“He has no pain but he has to do a lot of exercises before he joins the team.”

And Nuno has called for cheaper tickets after he was alerted to the Wolves fans being charged a maximum of £55 a ticket for tonight’s third-round replay at Old Trafford.

Wolves, who have sold the majority of their 3,048 allocation for the replay, charged United supporters a maximum of £35 for the 0-0 draw at Molineux.

But the cheapest ticket for the Wolves fans tonight is set at £37 for a season ticket holder. And Nuno would prefer lower prices for Wolves’ travelling fans.

He said: “I’m not aware of this. So it’s £55? It’s too much isn’t it? So I don’t agree.

“I would prefer fans do not pay too much, but I cannot do anything about it.

“Make it cheaper, cheaper, cheaper.”

Nottingham Forest have meanwhile ended the loan spell of Rafa Mir. He has moved to SD Huesca in the Spanish second tier, also on loan.
