We spoke to Stanley Hughes from the One Stream in Bristol podcast to get a better look at Albion's opponents.

How do you think the season has gone so far for Bristol City?

It's never plain sailing under Lee Johnson. Bristol City fans have christened him streaky Johnson.

You get these wonderful runs, four wins without conceding for the first time since 1990, but then you lose at home to Birmingham and just scrape past Derby.

Our season has been cut into parts, we started so well playing attacking fast-paced football, Benik Afobe was the messiah and the striker we've all been craving for.

Suddenly Johnson finds a defensive formation and we start climbing back up the table.

I think most fans would have been hoping for top six at the start of the season.

I don't think Johnson would be sacked if we didn't finish top six, but I think he would then be under immense pressure.

Can you rule out automatic promotion?

We've shown in the past that we can go on a good run, last season we were on nine in a row at one point.

It's whether we can keep that momentum, it's almost a lottery at times.

I certainly won't rule it out, but I would say the play-offs rather than the top two.

Who's impressed you most this season?

Famara Diedhiou is looking as good as he ever has at Bristol City.

He's always been much maligned, he's one of those players where he does a lot of the hard work, but he doesn't score enough goals.

For a long time City fans have got on his back, but he's been looking really good, and with the signing of Nahki Wells, hopefully we can see a partnership beginning to bloom.

What do you make of West Brom this season?

They look very good, and clinical. That might be the difference between them and Leeds come the end of the season, that they punish mistakes.

Do I think that they'll get promoted? Probably. They made a couple of decent signings in January, so if I had to guess I'd say that they'll go up.

How do you expect Bristol City to line up?

Up until the last two games we've been 4-1-4-1, very defensive.

But fans expect two up front now with the signing of Wells.

Could easily be one up front, but I think we need to sort out our home form, so I'd say two up front with Wells and Diedhiou.

Prediction?

I'll go a draw. We've not drawn for 15 games so, a 2-2 draw.
