Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, head coach Slaven Bilic confirmed Orsic is a player he is interested in signing this month.

The 27-year-old, who made his international debut for Croatia in September, has been in outstanding form for Zagreb this season having netted 17 goals in 26 appearances.

Five of those have arrived in the Champions League with the winger scoring a hat-trick against Atalanta and also finding the target against Rosenborg and Shakhtar.

That form has alerted other clubs. And when asked by Croatian paper Sportske Novosti if he could leave this month, Orsic admitted his future is uncertain.

“It’s hard to talk about," Orisc said.

"You see, now I’m solely focused on Dynamo.

“Whether or not the offer will come, no one knows.

"That’s why I’m only focused on training here and I want to get ready for the season to continue because we have two goals – to win the championship and the cup.

"This is what my agent takes care of, I am concentrating on football, training, team. A possible transfer, therefore, I cannot talk about now.”

Intriguingly, Orsic went on to say he thinks 18-year-old winger Antonio Marin should replace him in Zagreb's side if he does depart.

“By all accounts, my successor should be Antonio Marin,” he added.

“He has been with the first team for a long time, he is young and talented, he needs to work, move forward, hopefully he will be ‘real’.”
