Kenneth Zohore opened the scoring for Albion, only for the Baggies to be undone later on in the first half by the Addicks to ensure the sides went in level.

Hal Robson-Kanu's deflected effort gave Albion the lead right away in the second half, but it was a second set piece from Charlton which ensured the points were shared as Tom Lockyer's header proved too much for Sam Johnstone to stop.

The result lifts Slaven Bilic's side on top of the Championship table, although the gap to third has been cut to just seven points.
