Stourbridge effectively wrapped the result up by half time after racing into a 3-0 lead at the break.

That was after strugglers St Ives had hit the post from a second minute Rob Parker penalty.

Stourbridge soon responded, Anthony Dwyer netting from a 5th minute corner before Jordaan Brown made it 2-0 from a repeat corner move on 19 minutes.

Nathan Hayward netted a third Stourbridge goal on 39 minutes to seal the points.

But the expected second half goal blitz never arrived as St Ives pulled one back on 67 minutes when Dylan Wilson lobbed Glassboys goalkeeper Charlie Price.
