It was the home side who enjoyed the first half with Levi Rowley shooting wide and Asa Charlton heading a long Lee Smith throw-in narrowly over. Trinity `keeper` Joe Green punched away a shot from the impressive Chekaine Steele and on eighteen minutes the home side were in front. Steele went on a mazy run before laying the ball into the path of JONATHAN LETFORD who side-footed home from close range for his twelfth goal of the season.

The home side kept up the pressure and a long shot from Orrin Pedley went just wide and on the half hour the home side missed a great chance to double their lead when Steele fired high and wide after being set up by Letford.

Towards the end of the half Trinity came more into the game and Jonathan Flatt made good saves to deny Simon Russell and Kingsley James

The visitors were more of a threat in the second half but the home side defended well and fourteen minutes from time sealed the game when MITCHELL CLARKE`S cross-cum shot beat everyone and nestled in the far corner.

Rushall ended the game with ten men when Rowley received a red card for a push on Nathan Stainfield
