The 22-year-old was out of contract at Aggborough this summer and offered a new deal but has elected to leave the National League North side and step up two divisions to join Sol Campbell’s outfit.

Horsfall, a former Huddersfield Town youngster, made 87 appearances and scored seven goals for Harriers.

John Pemberton’s men continued their pre-season plans with a 1-0 home defeat to neighbours Bromsgrove Sporting on Saturday.

They followed that up with a young Harriers side going down 4-0 at Stourbridge last night.

Kieran Cook hit a hat-trick and Mike McGrath also netted, with all the goals coming in the second half.
