The pair, from Halesowen and Redditch respectively, had their hands raised on BCB Promotions’ Britain Awaits show at Walsall Town Hall at the weekend.

Clarke recorded a 40-36 points win over Darryl Sharp as he turns his attention towards Lerrone Richards, who is slated to face for the British Super Middleweight Title later this year.

Robinson KO’d Nigerian Eric Nwankwo in a warm-up bout ahead of his challenge to current Champion, Liam Williams, at middleweight.

There were also victories for the remaining quartet in the home corner.

The fighting pride of Telford, Liam Davies, stopped Nigaragua’s Joe Aguilar in the fourth of a six-round contest, while debutants Owen Cooper and Kashif Khan – from Worcester and Walsall respectively – recorded points victories over Paul Cummings and Dean Jones.

Dudley’s Ruben Campbell, son of former professional Rasa Campbell, made it two wins from two as he defeated Ibrar Riyaz on points.
