Lewis has teamed up with Leeds born Olympic bronze medallist Nile Wilson to officially launch Haven’s new developments for 2019 as well as the official partnership between the brand and Team GB.

Nile who is no stranger to athletic adventures tried his hand on the aerial adventures and the crazy climbers just some of the newest activity features at Haven’s Craig Tara resort in Ayr, Scotland.

Haven has spent close to £100m since last winter developing its new concepts which will be trialled at five different parks across the UK with The Drop and the Crazy Climber just two features of the new Lighthouse Harbour Adventure Village.

“The Crazy Climber was brilliant,” said Nile as he worked to get a marker down for guests and holiday home owners this summer. “It’s brilliant to see so many facilities under one roof but also what you can do on your holiday! I think it’s really going to get people active and trying all sorts of new things when on a family break.”

National hero, Denise, was selected as an Ambassador for the Haven and Team GB partnership due to her outstanding Olympic success and as importantly her family values. Haven puts families first, and as a mum of four, she’s well-placed to experience the thrills of action-packed coastal holidays at Haven.

Denise commented: “Seeing the fantastic new facilities has opened my eyes to all the activities we can do as a family on holiday - both indoors and outdoors. It is exciting to think of the sporting path someone might follow after trying something new on holiday, and I can’t wait to see these developments arrive in other parks around the country”
