The Stourbridge-born Halford Yuasa driver produced a storming performance in the final race on Sunday.

After a sixth-place finish in the first race, Neal dropped out of the points in the second race of the afternoon at the sodden Northamptonshire circuit.

However, the 52-year-old roared back in the final race of the weekend to take third behind Jack Goff and Aiden Moffatt.

The result leaves Honda Yuasa driver Neal eighth in the overall standings. BMW’s Colin Turkington remains in the overall lead.
