Arson attack on van in Kidderminster

Police have launched an investigation after an arson attack in Kidderminster.

A van parked in Farfield was set alight in the early hours of Monday, February 10.

West Mercia Police is now investigating the incident as arson.

A spokesman from West Mercia Police said: "Officers in Kidderminster are investigating an incident of arson that happened on Monday, February 10.

"At around 3am a van parked on Farfield, Kidderminster was set alight. The vehicle was not able to be salvaged."

PC Connor Chambers added: "Reassurance patrols have been and will continue to be conducted in the local area to safeguard residents.

“We are appealing for witnesses to the incident or any suspicious behaviour prior to the incident are asked to contact me. We will be making contact with anyone who has already contacted us in due course."
