Biker still in critical condition a week after Wolverhampton crash

A biker who was involved in a crash in Wolverhampton is still in a critical condition a week later.

Paramedics, firefighters and police were called to Coleman Street, near to St Andrew's Primary School, in Whitmore Reans at around 7pm on August 14.

The 20-year-old biker crashed into a car before hitting other parked vehicles and then landed underneath a van - where firefighters had to free him.

One ambulance, a senior paramedic, a paramedic officer and a MERIT trauma doctor were sent to the scene.

West Midlands Police said the man is now in a critical but stable condition.
