The highly-anticipated tournament will return to Aldersley Leisure Village in November - as the city's Civic Hall, where the event is usually held, is still under refurbishment.

A total of 32 first-class players from both the PDC and BDO systems will compete across nine days at the hugely popular tournament.

The Sky Sports-televised event initially sees the 32 split into eight groups of four for the round-robin phase over the opening four days from Saturday, November 9.

The top two players from each group then progress to the knockout stages before the tournament concludes with the semi-finals and final on Sunday, November 17.

This year's event will welcome reigning champion Gerwyn Price, defending the title he claimed last year, as well as PDC world champion Michael van Gerwen.

Joining them will be championship finalist Michael Smith, former Grand Slam runner-up James Wade, 2018 World Champion Rob Cross and German youngster Martin Schindler, who are all also set to compete on the Grand Slam of Darts stage.

Tickets on general sale will be available via wolvescivic.co.uk
