Two cars crash in Bilston

Emergency services attended a crash in Bilston yesterday after two cars collided.

The Willenhall team of West Midlands Fire Service attended the collision in Oxford Street, Bilston at about 8.40am – along with West Midlands Ambulance Service and West Midlands Police.

A spokesman for the fire service said that two cars had crashed in the road, but came to rest on the pavement.

He said: "No-one was trapped and one female was assessed by the ambulance."

Willenhall Fire tweeted about the incident, and said: "Please watch your speed, attended a RTC this morning at a busy junction, luckily no people were seriously injured."
