New sunrise walk planned to support Katharine House Hospice

Fundraisers will strap on their walking boots to take on a challenge at sunrise.

The Sunrise Walk is a new sponsored event in aid of Katharine House Hospice in Stafford, which will take place at Shugborough on May 3.

Participants of the six-mile walk will be able to decorate and hang up a lantern in memory of a loved one, and enjoy some breakfast afterwards.

Registration and lantern hanging will take place at 4.45am.

The walk will start at 5.30am. Prices are £15 per adult and £5 per child under 16 and include a T-shirt, medal, food and lantern for supporters to put up at the start line.
