Soft play for children with autism will be a real BLAST

A sports and soft play session specifically catering for children with autism will take place tomorrow (FRI).

The one-off session has launched at Friary Grange Leisure Centre

Freedom Leisure’s Active Communities team has teamed up with Burntwood and Lichfield Autism support Together (BLAST) to host the session.

It will be held at Friary Grange Leisure Centre, in Lichfield, on Friday, from 11am to noon.

Sessions are informal and children can use the soft play equipment and bouncy castle.

For those children wanting a bit more structure, sports coaches will be on hand with kit to play games, all tailored to suit children with additional needs.

Parents must stay with their child but there will be ample seating around the hall. Entry costs £2 per child.
