Dave McDonald, who runs the shop, said too many people are affected by breast cancer and they wanted to help towards awareness of it.

He said: "We have a very loyal customer base who always support us when we try to do something out of the ordinary and this has caught the attention.

"We have already raised £500 in advance of the event and anyone who comes in on Saturday either in pink or adds to the fund will get a free sandwich.

"Some of or all the staff at one time or another will be wearing pink on Saturday and we hope it brightens up people's days as Breast Cancer Awareness Month comes to a close."
