The Seven Stars, next to Stourbridge Junction railway station, has been restored by Black Country Ales.

It was bought in the autumn by the brewery, based in Kingswinford, which then carried out a full revamp.

Graham Manwaring, head of pubs for Black Country Ales, said: “We are delighted to have a chance to open The Seven Stars, which has been an iconic pub in Stourbridge for over 100 years.

“The pub will, first and foremost, be about selling a wide range of real ales from Black Country Ales and also changing guest beers from all over the rest of the UK.

"We have 15 hand pulls for real ale and traditional ciders so we think that we should have something to satisfy all tastes.

“There will also be a menu of traditional English pub food favourites.”

The pub will be run by Paul Hicks and Liz Oakley, who have both run The Swan in Long Lane, Halesowen.

Paul said: “We are very excited to be involved in the next chapter of The Seven Stars’ history. This has been a landmark pub.”
