Man left with head injuries after argument outside pub

A man has been left with head injuries after an argument outside a pub.

The 38-year-old was taken to hospital following the incident at The Old Crown Inn on Carters Lane in Woodgate, near Halesowen, in the early hours of Monday morning.

The man remains in hospital for his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.

A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of an assault.

"A man in his 30s was treated for multiple injuries, not believed to be life-threatening.

"A second patient did not wish to be assessed."

CCTV is being reviewed as enquiries continue, West Midlands Police.
