Driver taken to hospital after Cradley Heath crash

A driver was taken to hospital after a two-car crash in Cradley Heath.

Emergency services were called to Corngreaves Road just after 12.30pm today to reports of a crash.

The back end of one of the cars, a red Golf, end up through a fence after the crash.

Murray McGregor, spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "At 12.34pm we were called to reports of a two-car road traffic collision between a black Mini and a red Golf.

"The rear end of the Golf went through a fence.

"We have treated a woman in her 20s from one of the cars who was taken to Russells Hall Hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening.

"A man from the other car didn't want further assessment."
