In a celebration of the region's heritage as a car manufacturing giant, various locally-made cars proudly made an appearance as part of the Festival of Vehicles.

They included world-famous brands such as Bean, Clyno, Guy, Sunbeam, Austin and Jensen.

And it wasn't just cars on display, with buses, motorcycles and even a Penny Farthing wheeled out for the festival.

The Tipton Road museum is home to the largest collection of Black Country-manufactured vehicles anywhere in the world.

All are on display across the attraction’s 26-acre site in replica shops and garages that once existed in the region.

Families were given the chance to take a ride on the museum’s vintage bus, tram and trolley bus collection - the perfect vantage point for vehicles dating back to the early 20th century.

Tim Shields, the museum’s transport manager, said: "We are delighted to host this event for vintage vehicle enthusiasts everywhere. The local area has a well-deserved reputation for vehicle manufacturing, and we are once again proud to bring a selection of these vehicles to the museum for visitors to enjoy."
