Communities across Shropshire and the West Midlands have been dealing with the third successive year of serious flooding after the river burst its banks again.

The water level has now peaked across Shropshire and the clean-up is in full flow in Shrewsbury, with places such as Ironbridge and Bridgnorth not far behind.

However parts of Bewdley, and lesser-protected villages inbetween, remain submerged.

The latest floods come after a weekend of heavy rainfall and three storms in quick succession - Dudley, Eunice and Franklin.

Severe 'danger to life' warnings remain in place for the Wharfage at Ironbridge and Bewdley, while 52 flood warnings are in place across England.
