Bailey Atkinson was murdered in Walsall

Mr Atkinson, aged 20, died in an alleged machete attack in High Street in the old Walsall market in the early hours of January 28.

On Monday all nine defendants appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court for a preliminary hearing ahead of the trial in January.

Judge Michael Chambers KC said the trial was being transferred to Nottingham Crown Court due to delays relating to a long running trial at Loughborough, where the case was initially scheduled to be heard.
