Appeal after burnt out car abandoned on roadside

Police are appealing for information after a burnt out car was found at the side of road near Stourbridge.

Staffordshire Police discovered the car – which they believe could be a Mitsubishi Colt – abandoned on the A458, between Enville and Four Ashes, on Saturday morning.

The burnt car had been left on the roadside near to the junction of Morfe Lane.

Posting on Twitter, South Staffordshire Police said: "Officers in attendance at a burnt out vehicle – possibly Mitsubishi Colt – on A458 just prior to Morfe Lane, Enville heading from Bridgnorth.

"If you have any information or witnessed anything in relation to this, please contact Staffordshire Police on 101 serial 0087 of January 18."

The busy A458 runs from Bridgnorth to Enville.

Anyone with information can call Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 0087 of January 18.
