Spate of thefts in South Staffordshire

A spate of thefts has been reported across Featherstone and the surrounding areas in recent days.

A van was broken into in The Avenue, another stolen in Brookhouse Close, also there was a burglary in Cranesbill Close.

Two vehicles were stolen in East Road, Brinsford, and a van was broken into in Pool Close, Shareshill.

PCSO Teresa Nicholls said: "Over last few days there has been a spate of theft of and from vehicles.

"The Avenue at Featherstone, a van was broken into and copper piping and a hoover was stolen.

"Brookhouse Close, a work van was stolen off the driveway which was later found on the West Midlands.

"Burglary at Cranesbill Close, untidy search of property looking for vehicle keys.

"Brinsford, East Road, two vehicles stolen, Audi Q3 and Mercedes SKL entry gained through back door.

"Shareshill, Pool Close, van broken into tools stolen.

"If anyone has any information call Staffordshire Police on 101."
