West Midlands Police today confirmed they made two arrests at the game on Sunday afternoon, which Wolves won 2-1 thanks to goals from Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez.

A 27-year-old man from Wolverhampton was arrested and later charged with possessing a smoke flare in the lower Sir Jack Hayward stand.

However the charge against the suspect was later dropped.

And a 28-year-old man from London was arrested and later cautioned for throwing an item onto the pitch from the lower Steve Bull stand.

Earlier in the week three people were arrested on the night of the Slovan Bratislava match at Molineux, with one clash between the away fans and police caught on video outside the ground.
