Cash and charity box stolen from Wolverhampton Subway shop

Cash, electrical items and a charity box have been stolen from a Subway store in Wolverhampton.

West Midlands Police has launched an investigation a burglary at the sandwich shop on Penn Road on Wednesday night.

The thieves stole electrical items, cash and a charity box from inside the store and are yet to be caught.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Police are investigating a burglary at a Subway store on Penn Road in Wolverhampton sometime between 10pm and 10.20pm on Wednesday.

"Electrical items, cash and a charity box were taken.

"Enquiries continue and anyone with information is asked to contact us."

Anyone with information is asked to call West Midlands Police on 101, quoting incident reference number 20WV/240043M/19.
