Wolves' match at Crystal Palace and Villa’s trip to Arsenal are among four big Premier League fixtures taking place in the capital within the space of just a few hours.

Manchester United are playing at West Ham, while Liverpool go to Chelsea.

The high number of fans heading to London means police bosses are planning an increased presence.

Extra officers will be on trains heading to the capital and on duty at Euston station.

Chief Inspector Stuart Middlemas, British Transport Police’s commander for Sunday, said: “Our starting point is that the vast majority of supporters are there for a good day out and we are look forward to helping them have that.

“That said, we have seen issues with a small minority.

"There will be a highly visible police presence at stations on the West Coast Mainline and at Euston.

“Numbers have been increased and this is an enhanced operation but let me stress – the starting point is trying to facilitate the vast majority who want to enjoy the day.”

At 2pm Wolves face Palace and Manchester United are at West Ham, then at 4.30pm Villa take on the Gunners and Liverpool play Chelsea.
