Cage fighter jailed after choking officer in headlock during arrest
A cage fighter who threatened to "rip off" a police officer's head during a violent struggle has been locked up.
Bobby Mason lashed out when Pcs Jack Moorhouse and Luci Boardman called at his Wordsley home to arrest him.
Body worn footage captured Mason threatening and swearing at officers as he became aggressive in his Oak Park Road home.
The 38-year-old left Pc Moorhouse with minor injuries after forcing him into a headlock and choking him.

Detective Chief Inspector Pete Dunn, from the force's public protection unit, said: “This was an horrific attack on a police officer in the line of duty.
“It serves as a reminder to us all of the inherent dangers faced by police officers on a daily basis in our efforts to prevent crime, protect the public and help those in need.
“Mason, a trained cage fighter, would have known his own strength and deliberately wanted to debilitate and harm Pc Moorhouse.
“Luckily, Jack wasn’t seriously injured, but no doubt this experience will stay with him for the rest of his career.”
The officers called at Mason's home to arrest him following a serious assault during the morning of February 10.
But when he was told he was under arrest, he became aggressive and tried to punch Pc Moorhouse.
Mason then grabbed the officer and put him in a headlock, choking him and refusing to let go.
Parva spray was used on Mason, weakening his grip, before he was detained by Pc Boardman.
At one point, Mason also asked Pc Moorhouse if the button on his radio was an alarm - in an attempt to intimidate him.
He later told interviewing officers Pc Moorhouse "went for him first", not realising the incident had been captured on body worn video.
Mason, who admitted common assault and actual bodily harm, was jailed for one year at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Thursday.
