Steve Bates posted on Facebook after the Staffie went onto his land, in Hobs Hole Lane, in Aldridge, and savaged the animals.

A mother goose was killed by the dog when she was trying to protect her eggs, three more geese were injured and about five chickens were also killed.

He posted on Facebook saying: "Earlier today at approximately 2.50pm what appears to be a Brindle Staffie entered our land on Hobs Hole Lane in Aldridge.

"From CCTV it appears it entered from the main road.

"The dog then spent 10 to 15 minutes on our land attacking and terrorising our animals.

"It has killed a mother goose who was sitting on eggs trying to protect her young, injured maybe three other geese (puncture wounds and limps), killed five chickens and there are some chickens unaccounted for so either missing or taken off site and killed.

"If you saw anything please get in touch."

If you have any information contact police on 101 quoting incident number 1829 of March 24.
