Boy, 13, arrested after three teenagers stabbed near Birmingham school

A schoolboy has been arrested after three teenagers were stabbed near a Birmingham school.

Three boys were knifed on Weoley Park Road, in Selly Oak, on Monday afternoon.

It is believed a fight broke out at around 4.20pm close to University of Birmingham School.

All three victims suffered stab wounds, said West Midlands Police.

They were taken to hospital but their injuries were not thought to be serious.

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault.

He remained in custody today.
