Dolphin Lifts Midlands, based on the Vaughan Trading Estate in Sedgley Road East, Tipton, has agreed the £300,000 sale finance facility to fund cashflow for their major clients, many of whom include local authorities.

Established in 1990, the business specialises in the supply, installation and maintenance of hoists to support people with disabilities.

Lee Farrington, director of Dolphin Lifts Midlands said: "This funding will enable us to expand our services to a wider range of larger clients whose payment terms can be longer and supports our strategic growth plans for the business."

Funding was provided by Barclays. Kevin Sheridan, business manager at Barclays in the Black Country, said: "Lee and his team have grown the business since its inception in 1990. I am delighted we have been able to support the next stage of the company’s growth."

The business employs 51 staff and last year won business of the year in the Black Country Chamber of Commerce annual business awards.
