People working at ITS Trac, of Tractor Spares Industrial Estate, in Willenhall, lost their jobs earlier this month.

The firm, based in Strawberry Lane, specialised in sale of replacement and spare parts for excavator machinery and tractors.

Simon Chandler and Scott Bevan of Mazars were appointed as joint administrators of ITS Trca on February 4.

All employees of the company, which has a second site in Bishop Sutton, Hampshire, were made redundant.

The directors had been trying to sell the business and its assets without success and said they had no alternative but to place the company into administration.

Mr Chandler said: “The company was long-established and well known in its field.

"It is unfortunate that after a few challenging years, the company was unable to refinance the business or complete a sale.”

The company dated back to 1923 and was originally known as Tractor Spares.
