Walsall jewellers closes after 126 years in business
A jewellers which has been in Walsall for 126 years has closed.
Stirlings Jewellers in The Victorian Arcade was founded in 1893 but closed last month due to reduced footfall.
A post on the business's Facebook said: "It’s with a very heavy heart that we have to announce that the shop closed.
"Due to economic downturn and reduced footfall in Walsall Stirlings Jewellers had to close its doors for the last time.
"Any enquiries regarding repairs/customer collections please message us on Facebook or on Instagram or email info@stirlingsjewellers.com"
