Four men deny Black Country burglaries in five-day spree
Four men have denied being responsible for a string of burglaries allegedly committed in the Black Country within five days.
Philip Delaney, aged 27, Michael and Thomas Wall, 25 and 21 respectively, and 21-year-old Michael Connors, all from Wrexham, each pleaded not guilty to conspiring to burgle houses between October 8 and October 12 last year.
The allegation is understood to cover nine separate offences, while the foursome also denied handling a stolen Seat Leon between the same dates.
Michael and Thomas Wall, both from Griffin Road, and Connors, of Ruthin Road, further pleaded not guilty to carrying out a robbery on October 10 last year.
Delaney, also from Griffin Road, admits driving a car in Avenue Road, Darlaston, while disqualified on October 17.
The four men, who entered their pleas at Wolverhampton Crown Court, were remanded in custody by Judge Dean Kershaw and are due to return to the court to stand trial on April 14.
