Comedy stars heading to Brierley Hill

Two comedy stars are coming to Brierley Hill next year.

Roy 'Chubby' Brown and Jethro

Roy 'Chubby' Brown and Jethro will perform shows at the town's Civic Hall.

Known as 'The Count of Cornwall', 71-year-old comedian Jethro started in showbusiness singing traditional songs in Cornish pubs.

He has appeared on The Des O'Connor Show and Jim Davidson's Generation Game, and has hosted two shows for West Country ITV station HTV.

In 2001 he appeared in the Royal Variety Show.

Known for his blue humour, 74-year-old Roy 'Chubby' Brown began his career as an entertainer in working men's clubs in the 1960s.

In 1993 the comedian released a film called U.F.O, and has since starred in the likes of The League of Gentlemen.

While Brown has been performing for over 30 years, his live shows have been released around Christmas time since 1990.

Roy 'Chubby' Brown will come to Brierley Hill Civic Hall on May 14, 2020. Jethro will come to the venue on July 30, 2020.
