Despite the miserable weather and rain downpours, children at St. Dominic's Grammar School in Brewood performed a range of musical performances and songs at their concert on Wednesday.

Children of all ages took to the stage and entertained the audience to solo performances, choir ensembles and band performances.

Students took to a range of instruments including the cello, flute, violin, piano, guitar and drums, accompanied by singing.

Headmaster, Peter McNabb said, "It’s wonderful to see how much confidence our children have, and how excited they are to perform.

"We’re delighted to be able to offer an outstanding music programme with the use of our recording studio and the additional expertise of specialist peripatetic tuition.

"The concert is one of the many examples of how well our pupils progress, and this is highlighted by our recent Inspection report which confirms our students possess very high levels of confidence for their age."
