Penkridge Market will be welcoming a wide variety of stalls selling a range of homemade gifts, toys and crafts, as well as trees, wreaths and decorations.

A range of local butchers, delicatessens and farms will be selling fresh meat, vegetables, cheeses, breads, pickles, puddings and homemade cakes.

Alongside the stalls, the Old Deanery Farm cafe will be serving hot drinks and food, including a traditional turkey lunch with all the trimmings.

The fine food and craft event will be held on Saturday, December 21 from 9am to 3pm.

The market's famed Christmas poultry auctions will also be held on December 19 and 23 from 9am, with 300 oven ready birds in each auction - including turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens from local farms.

The market will then close for Christmas and reopen on Saturday, January 4.
