The 32-year-old has been signed by the Wood to boost their promotion chances in the Midland League Premier Division.

He will be playing under former Villa and Walsall striker Darren Byfield, who became Walsall Wood manager earlier this season.

Ebanks-Blake has already played for Halesowen Town and Barwell two steps above Wood this season and turned out for Telford United in National League North last season.

Walsall Wood are currently second in the Midland League Premier Division, six points behind Ilkeston Town.

Ten seasons ago, Ebanks-Blake fired Wolves to the Premier League with 25 goals in the Championship.

Meanwhile, former Wolves goalkeeper Aaron McCarey has joined Dundalk on a two-year deal.
