That’s what they told supporters at the club’s annual winter talk-in at the Cleveland Arms this week.

Exciting American prospect Broc Nicol is the only new face in the line-up so far while Kyle Howarth opted to follow Sheffield’s promotion to the Premiership – the club who he has captained in the second tier for the previous three seasons.

Rory Schlein, Nick Morris and Ryan Douglas are also confirmed starters while talks are on-going with 2019 rider of the year Luke Becker.

Bosses also revealed they are keeping a close eye on situations with Parrys International Wolves stalwarts Jacob Thorssell and Sam Masters and hope to have a completed team very early in the New Year.

“I’m happy with the way team-building is going,” promoter Chris Van Straaten said.

“If all goes to plan it will be basically last year’s team with just the one change.

“I’d be delighted with that; I think it would be a very solid team and there is scope for improvement which of course is the key to winning anything in this sport.

“It’s the majority of the team which got us to the play-offs this year and I’d fancy our chances of doing the same again next season should that end up being our team.

“It was good to see so many supporters turnout on Tuesday as well; it’s these kind of events that renew your enthusiasm and it was good to see the supporters feeling pretty positive about next season.”
