The Swedes, who scored over 10,000 points over 1,000 meetings in their Wolves careers, are set to take to the stage 48-hours before they visit the British Grand Prix in Cardiff.

Both won league titles and Knockout Cups with the club and only retired last year after glittering careers.

Now they’ll look back on their time in the West Midlands, plus their international careers, in front of supporters on a night not to be missed.

They fly into the UK on Thursday morning and arrive in the Midlands at lunch time.

Van Straaten said: “Both Peter and Mikael are the best signings I’ve ever made at Wolverhampton.

“I’ll never forget Mikael’s Heat 15 heroics at Eastbourne when we won the league in 2002 and again in a run-off against Ipswich in the semi-final at Monmore.

“I’m looking forward to catching up with the guys.”

Karlsson said: “I can’t wait to get across and see all my friends again and I know Mikael feels the same.

“We loved riding for Wolverhampton and even though we had spells at other clubs Wolves was always our home in the UK.”
