Track staff have worked overtime to get the clash on following Sunday’s torrential storms and it’s all systems go as the Parrys International Wolves look to add to their tally at the top of the table.

The visitors have brought Paul Starke into their line-up which sees Polish racer Kacper Woryna drop to reserve.

Promoter Chris Van Straaten said: “Our thanks have to go to the track staff who were in at 5.30am this morning pumping the track clear following yesterday’s horrendous storms.

“It’s a humid but dry day ahead and we’re looking forward to a special night in the history of Wolverhampton Speedway.

“It’s always an entertaining fixture against Poole and we’re going to be in for another treat I’m sure.

“There’s plenty more going on throughout the night as well though.

“We’ve got the World Championship winning bikes of Sam Ermolenko and Greg Hancock on display, we’ve got some GB Youth and Upright Machine demonstration races starting at 7.15 and a historic race jacket display too.

“We’re offering an exclusive free gift for the first 100 kids through the gates as well and there’ll be plenty to keep them entertained throughout the night.

“We’re also supporting the ABF Soldiers Charity as well so there’s plenty going on and it’s going to be a great occasion for the club.”

Supporters are reminded once again of the slightly later start time of 8pm with gates opening at 7pm.
