The 18-year-old walked away with three trophies to cap off a fine year for the youngster.

Harris received the Wayne Garratt Memorial Trophy for Most Improved Rider, the Max Cartwright Memorial Shield and comfortably secured the Most Bonus Points award.

Harris said: “It’s been a great year and to have three awards to show for it feels brilliant.

“I’ve got my head down this year, I’ve shown everyone what I can actually do and it’s nice to see the fans appreciate it.”

While Harris claimed the most awards, it was skipper Tom Perry who received the most prestigious trophy available. Club supporters voted Perry as their rider of the year as he picked up the Ivor Hughes Memorial Trophy.

“I had to get a round of drinks in because I bet someone that Danny Ayres would win it no problem,” Perry joked.

“But on a serious note it’s a great honour to be Cradley’s rider of the season and it means a lot to be voted for it by the fans.”
