The club’s under-12 side will train with stars from Worcester Warriors, after winning a nationwide competition launched by insurance broker Gallagher, the title partner of Premiership Rugby.

Gallagher’s Train with Your Heroes encouraged local people to nominate their community rugby club or team by detailing how it embodies the spirit and values of rugby both on and off the pitch.

Wolverhampton were put forward by their coach Rob Harris, because he wanted to see his team be trained by Gallagher Premiership Rugby stars and thought the experience would really benefit them as they progress through the age groups.

And Wolves were one of 12 teams who earned the chance to mix it with the top flight performers.

In addition to hosting 12 dedicated training sessions with Premiership players and the winning clubs, the individuals who submitted each of the winning entries have also received two tickets on behalf of Gallagher to the Gallagher Premiership Rugby Final on 1 June.
