Nuno warns Wolves: Ignore the FA Cup hype

Nuno Espirito Santo has urged Wolves not to get caught up in all of the hype surrounding their FA Cup quarter-final tie against Manchester United.

Wolves are welcoming Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s in-form United to what will be a packed-out Molineux on Saturday night, and are going into it after picking up a point at Chelsea.

But Nuno says the United test will be completely different to the one they faced against the Blues and insists his players cannot get distracted by a potential trip to Wembley in the semi-finals.

“It’s going to be a different game, a totally different game,” he said.

“We’ll prepare ourselves for the competition, but it was a very tough game against a team with very good players and a very good manager.

“Their idea of possession required us to work very hard.

"Our boys really worked hard and now let’s prepare for the next game.

“It’s about preparing to compete, not thinking about anything else.”

Wolves have made it to the last eight in the Cup by beating Liverpool, Shrewsbury Town (with a replay) and Bristol City.
