Bully: Wolves shouldn't change a winning team

It was in total contrast to the Cardiff game! We were in control for an hour there and when Cardiff scored we lost our confidence.

With a winner like that from Junior Hoilett they certainly deserved it.

To bounce back a few days later was brilliant – the lads did really well to respond and put on a show.

If you'd offered me three points from the two games to be honest I'd rather have beaten Cardiff and lost to Chelsea to open the gap up below.

But it was a great night. We showed great spirit, held our our in the first half with a solid structure to ride the storm after their lucky goal.

In the second half I thought we bullied them. We were pushing and nudging them and getting the tackles in and they didn't like it.

After the winner I couldn't see Chelsea scoring, we closed it out really well.

Morgan Gibbs-White do brilliantly on his first Premier League start. He was full of energy and kept bursting forward, we've been lacking that.

He's a very, very good player and for me he'd be in the team at Newcastle again tomorrow. In fact I'd play the same XI, you should never change a winning side.

Ruben Neves is available again and he's a world class player, but the guys who got the result deserve to stay in the side.

I liked them trying a new long-throw tactic with Ryan Bennett against Chelsea.

It's good to see them mix it up and trying to confuse the opposition. He got a good trajectory on it – they're as good as a corner.

For me tomorrow is going to be even tougher than the Chelsea game.

It's all about how we're prepared mentally and if we're focused enough.

I want to see us consistently take points off the teams around and below us in the table, rather than having to rely on beating the bigger teams. I'd take a point tomorrow as long as we beat Bournemouth next weekend.
